Business Meetings / Public Hearings

The Douglas County Board of Commissioners holds public Business Meetings, Land Use Meetings, and Public Hearings,  on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. respectively in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room, 100 Third Street in Castle Rock. Comment in advance – email your comments to clerk@douglas.co.us, indicating in the subject line the date of the meeting and agenda item number.  This information will be relayed by staff if received prior to the end of the public comment period.

Comment During the Live Meeting – join the live meeting through the web link identified as “Participate via Webex” on the meeting information above.

* Each meeting has it’s own link address- they are not the same.

Once you have signed into the meeting. Open the chat window so that you may be instructed how to participate by the host. WebEx does not support cellphones or tablets, so functionality can vary.

Douglas County Commissioners invite public comment at their Business Meeting or Land Use Meeting/Public Hearing.  If you wish to provide public testimony at a Public Hearing please review the Guide to Speaking at Land Use Meetings and Hearings.

Invocation

Citizens who are leaders of an organized group or congregation that regularly meets in Douglas County now have an opportunity to deliver an invocation, up to 2 minutes in duration, at the Commissioners’ Business Meetings, on the second or fourth Tuesday of each month.  To submit your interest please click here.
