The Douglas County Commissioners and Veterans Service Officers want to ensure that all eligible Douglas County veterans are able to receive the benefits they need and deserve.

Please watch and share this video message with your community – so Douglas County veterans in need of assistance with housing, food, transportation, employment, mental health care or other concerns know there is help available.

Veterans and their families, as well as the families of fallen veterans, are encouraged to reach out to the Douglas County Veterans Service Office for support. The Office can help provide access to special programs and services, while also assisting in applying for benefits, employment assistance, medical care, housing applications and coordination of other services, such as transportation.

If you are one of the nearly 20,000 veterans living in Douglas County, our trained and accredited staff of military veterans are ready to assist you – and you may be eligible for emergency assistance funds.

Apply for Veterans Emergency Assistance Funds or learn more about how the Douglas County Veterans Service Office can support you at DouglasVeterans.org.

For more information, call 303.663.6200 or email Veterans_Services@douglas.co.us.
