Did you know that 90% of Douglas County voters prefer to deliver their voted ballots for free at one of the 20 convenient ballot drop box locations countywide? Safe, secure ballot drop boxes are open now through 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 2, 2021.
Locate your convenient ballot drop box. Find which drive-up or walk-up ballot drop box works best for you and deliver your ballot. Vote early and display the “I Voted” sticker included with your Douglas County mail ballot to show off your civic pride and remind the voters in your community to return their ballots.
Ballot drop boxes are under video surveillance and available 24/7 in the following areas:
- Castle Pines – one location
- Castle Rock – six locations*
- Highlands Ranch – four locations
- Larkspur – one location
- Lone Tree – two locations
- Parker – four locations
- Roxborough – one location
- Sterling Ranch – one location
*Please note, the Douglas County Fairgrounds ballot drop box location in Castle Rock has moved to a new drive-up location at the nearby Douglas County Off-Leash Area, 1100 Plum Creek Parkway.
Vote early for faster results. Ballots returned during the early voting period are processed and ready for tabulation at 7 p.m. on Election Day, and are included in the first rounds of unofficial results reported on election night. Ballots returned closer to the 7 p.m. Election Day deadline must still be processed before they can be counted and will not be among the first unofficial results reported.

Not registered to vote but want to be? Colorado election law allows voter registration up to and on Election Day. If you live in Douglas County visit DouglasVotes.com to register, check voter registration status and change your mailing address through Oct. 25 — after that time you will need to visit a VSPC.
