Crowfoot Valley Road is slated to be widened from Knobcone Drive to Macanta Boulevard to improve capacity to accommodate forecasted growth, improve safety for the traveling public and minimize delays to vehicles making turns from intersecting streets. Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2024.

Description

Currently, this section of Crowfoot Valley Road is a two-lane, asphalt roadway with the western portion in the Town of Castle Rock and the east end in Douglas County. Recent improvements have been completed at both ends of this project along Crowfoot Valley Road. This project is intended to fill the gap between the improved portions of Crowfoot and is a collaborative effort between Douglas County and the Town of Castle Rock.
