Don’t miss your chance to experience Colorado’s colorful past firsthand at the 2021 International Archaeology Day Expo on Saturday, Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fun for all ages and free for everyone, this event includes a lecture series, exhibits and artifact displays, activity booths, demonstrations and off-site visits to archaeological sites. Reservations are required for lectures and most tours – click here for registration links.
Start off at Roxborough Intermediate School located at 7370 Village Circle East in Littleton with hands-on exploration including a flint knapper, kid’s area, and Archaic snack stand.
While there pick up the schedule and get directions for off-site activities like tours of the Lamb Spring Archaeological Preserve, the Roxborough State Park National Archaeological District and the Ken Caryl Ranch Bradford House.
Parking in the vicinity of this event is limited. If you live within walking distance of the Roxborough Intermediate School we encourage you to enjoy the walk to the event with your friends, family and neighbors, if you are able.
