Your response is needed to help Douglas County gain a clearer understanding of high-speed internet (also known as broadband) availability, service options, and connectivity quality in all Douglas County communities.
With that in mind, please complete the Douglas County residential and/or business Internet Survey by Oct. 31, 2021, and provide information about high-speed internet access at your home and/or office that will be used to identify current and future needs.
The County understands that broadband is a critical service for businesses, institutions, and citizens. This survey will improve our collective understanding of current connectivity and any connectivity issues our citizens and businesses may have and help determine next steps to take to keep the County as a top destination to work, live and play.
The initial phase of the study includes gathering input from county residents, businesses, and key stakeholders which will be compared against industry data. The study and analysis will be completed later this year by HR Green, a national broadband consulting firm that has worked extensively throughout Colorado.
In addition to this survey, project consultant, HR Green, will be interviewing government representatives and leaders from various industries to gather additional information.
The survey takes only a few minutes to complete and only one response per household or business is needed. All responses are anonymous and confidential.
