** Douglas County Fairgrounds Vaccination Site will be closed July 14 through August 15 due to the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo. **
The newest no-appointment, drive-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic opened today, Monday, May 24, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds and Event Center in Castle Rock, located ½ mile east of the I-25 Plum Creek Parkway Exit 181.
With a focus on bringing the vaccine to you, this clinic is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (closed Memorial Day) from noon-7 p.m. Insurance and photo ID are not required. The vaccination is free.
Colorado began authorizing the administration of the vaccine to 12 to 15-year-olds on May 12, 2021. For those seeking the vaccine for a 12-15-year-old, a parent or legal guardian must be present. Written parental consent is required for 16 and 17-year-olds. Click here to download the consent form.
The drive-up clinic will be held in the south parking lot of the Douglas County Events Center, 500 Fairgrounds Rd, in Castle Rock. Follow signage for easy, convenient access to the site.
Officials ask that you arrive prepared to provide contact information for use when scheduling your second vaccine. Expect the total wait time to be approximately 20 minutes or less.
The clinic is made possible through a partnership with Douglas County, Tri-County Health Department, and the State of Colorado’s Vaccines for All program.
