Description

The Project consists of widening and reconstructing Hilltop Road from two lanes to four from the Legend High School access to Singing Hills Road. Additionally, the project includes reconstructing and improving the portion of Singing Hills Road from Hilltop Road through the Flintwood Road Intersection.

Schedule

Phase 1 Schedule – Legend High School to Alpine Drive

  • 2020 – Engineering staff advanced surveying, design, subsurface utility engineering and initiated some critical ROW acquisitions.
  • 2021 – advance final design, continue ROW acquisition and coordinate proposed utility relocations.
  • 2022 – complete final design, ROW acquisition and utility relocations will continue.
  • 2023-2024  – Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2023 or early 2024 (pending funding); and the project will take 18 to 24 months to construct.

Phase 2 Schedule – Alpine Drive on Hilltop Road to Flintwood Road on Singing Hills Road

  • 2020 – Engineering staff advanced surveying, design, and subsurface utility engineering.
  • 2021-2022 – advance design to 60% level to identify ROW needs and utility relocations.
  • 2023 – 2024 – Complete final design of the project, ROW acquisition and utility relocations will be completed in advance of construction.
  • 2025-2026  – Construction is anticipated to begin in early 2025 (pending funding); and the project will take 12 to 18 months to construct.
