Addressing & Street Naming

Douglas County Street Name Master List

Prior to submitting your subdivision plan for review, please refer to the Douglas County Street Name Reference to ensure there are no conflicts with proposed street names in your plan. Street names shown in this list have already been considered, denied, or used, and should not be proposed again. This list is updated automatically.

The Douglas County, Colorado Addressing and Street Naming Manual was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners in April 1996.  This document contains procedures to name streets and create street addresses that guide staff in ensuring consistency in addressing.  Accurate addressing ensures that emergency services, such as police, fire, and ambulance, are able to locate and respond quickly in an emergency; that visitors to a new area are able to find their way in a timely fashion; and it minimizes the delivery time for postal and private carriers.
